Scott R. Mergenthaler Business Litigation
Mr. Mergenthaler received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Akron in 1978 and his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1981. He practices in the areas of civil litigation, criminal and traffic defense and representation of employers in workers' compensation matters. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Central Ohio Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National College for DUI Defense, Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations. Mr. Mergenthaler was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Dublin Mayor's Court from 1991-1998. During this same time period he was a part-time instructor for the Ohio Municipal League Mayor's Court Training seminars. Mr. Mergenthaler is a charter member and officer of the Knights of Columbus Council #11445, and is a member of The Columbian Martyrs, Fourth Degree Assembly No. 2380.
