Scott is a member of the litigation practice in the firm's Minneapolis office. Scott has represented owners, general contractors, subcontractors and sureties in various construction and real estate matters in state court, federal court and arbitration, including the enforcement and defense of mechanic's liens, claims for defective work and indemnity agreements. While Scott's practice is focused in the construction and real estate areas, he has also handled litigation involving the Uniform Commercial Code, unemployment compensation and personal injury claims.
While in law school, Scott worked for the Minnesota State Public Defender Appellate Division and externed with United States Magistrate Judge Susan Richard Nelson
