Scott brings to The Sextant Group nearly 15 years experience in audiovisual systems design and technical expertise. As an Entertainment Special Events Technician for Universal Studios Orlando, he was involved in all tasks concerning operation and implementation of show systems for large-scale entertainment and corporate production. Additional experience includes design support for an AV integrator in North Carolina's Research Triangle and a live events staging and multimedia production firm in Central Florida where he performed consulting, systems design, field engineering and project management. In these positions Scott was involved in all aspects of design and implementation of professional audio and video systems for the region’s most prestigious research universities, medical centers, corporations, museums, and performing arts centers. Frey has worked with academic institutions such as University of Alabama, Duke, UNC Chapel Hill and NC State, while his corporate clients span the spectrum of American business, ranging from NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, IBM, Sony, Fox, Nintendo, Audi, KPMG, Pfizer and Pepsi, down to the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz in Washington DC. Scott is a graduate of Edinboro University where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music. He is a gifted guitar player and on the weekends plays in North Carolina-based rock bands. |
