Mr. Davison is a second-generation Silicon Valley entrepreneur who specializes in bringing early-stage transformative technologies to mass markets. Before helping to found Raydiance, Mr. Davison was Senior Vice President of America Online, where he was responsible for developing strategic business plans for AOL and Time Warner’s diverse digital media businesses. During his eight year tenure at AOL, Davison also held senior operating positions over AOL Productions, AOL Creative Services (daily publication of the AOL Service) and Netscape Communications. Before his tenure at AOL, Davison was a Vice president and General Manager for Medior, Inc., which was acquired by America Online in 1995. Medior pioneered the use of interactive multimedia for applications such as electronic commerce, entertainment, and corporate information systems. The company designed the America Online interface that ultimately made AOL leading consumer online service. Prior to Medior, Mr. Davison held senior positions with leading software companies Autodesk and Symantec, with responsibility over such areas as product development, product marketing, advertising and public relations. Early in his career, Mr. Davison worked with Imedia Corporation, a pioneer of PC-based business graphics and interactive information management technologies. Mr. Davison is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. |
