With more than twenty-six years of professional experience that includes software engineering, technical writing, customer support and training experience, Dr. Danforth holds the position of Director of Technology at ePath Learning. In this role, Dr. Danforth is responsible for all technical activities of the company including the planning, engineering, and delivery of the company’s technical infrastructure and technical customer support. Prior to joining ePath Learning in 2003, Dr. Danforth was a principal engineer at Acero, Inc./Secant Technologies. He also worked for IBM as a Senior Development Software Engineer where he was the lead kernal designer for the IBM System Object Model (SOM). Dr. Danforth represented IBM at the OMG working group that produced the CORBA C++ mapping specification. He is a co-author of two books: Putting Metaclasses to Work and Objects for OS/2. Dr. Danforth earned a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of North Carolina. |
