Scott Christie joined Intense in August 2005 and as CEO, he is responsible for all strategic and operating aspects of the business. Scott is a qualified Chartered Accountant who brings more than 20 years of diverse business experience to Intense including a strong background in operational and corporate finance, takeovers, mergers and integrations, supply chain management and general business leadership. Prior to joining Intense, Scott had 5 years at Macdonald Hotels Ltd, the highly successful UK hotel chain. He joined Macdonald as Group Finance Director and was Chief Operating Officer before he left to join Intense. Before that Scott spent 10 years with Diageo, the global drinks group, in senior financial roles and in manufacturing and supply chain management. Scott Graduated in Economics from Aberdeen University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand. Scott is married with two young children and is keen on outdoor sports including skiing, golf, tennis, mountain biking and hill walking. |
