Scott most recently held the position of Sr Vice President - Direct at Gateway Computers in Irvine California, and led a $450 million direct sales channel. For the preceding 8 years, Scott was at Best Buy in Minneapolis where for the final 5 years, he was a Sr. Vice President, with "end to end" responsibility for BestBuy.com stores. This included Computers, Consumer Electronics and Entertainment Product - 250,000 different stock keeping units (SKUs) and $400 million annual online sales. He led cross-functional web activities including search, affiliates, portals, online banners, customer relationship management (CRM), web personalization, offline marketing, web analytics, customer care, call center, web IT and more. Preceding his web involvement he was Vice President - Computer Operating Strategy for Best Buy and a Merchandise Manager. He was also an entrepreneur with his own stores, a merchant at Good Guys and a consultant. |
