Scott Alberts has over 25 years of semiconductor, subsystems, and software experience. His areas of expertise include strategic marketing and business development, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and Wall Street investor relations. Scott has held senior management positions and consulted with multinational corporations, start-ups, and venture firms. Prior to working with DCM, Scott provided strategic consulting services to companies such as Agilent, Broadcom, Fortinet, and Sand Video. Previously, he was co-founder, senior vice president of Marketing/Sales and CFO for WebPartner, a venture-backed start-up providing web performance management software. Earlier, Scott spent ten years with Oak Technology, joining the company as its first marketing manager and playing a key role in growing the company from a start-up to $250M in revenue and a successful IPO and secondary. Along the way, he created Oak’s business development program, executing several acquisitions, including Pixel Magic, which firmly established Oak as a leader in the digital imaging market. Scott established Oak’s investor relations program and represented the company on Wall Street. He started his career at Hewlett Packard’s Components Group (now Avago Technologies & Philips-Lumileds) where he led the automotive marketing efforts and later established a successful Japan market development program. |
