Scott McLain is president of SONIC Industries Inc., the franchising subsidiary for SONIC Corp. McLain joined SONIC in April 1996 as treasurer and was named chief financial officer in August 1997. He was promoted to executive vice president in January 2004 and named to his current position in November 2004.
McLain oversees franchise development, field services, purchasing and distribution, operations services and information technology.
Prior joining SONIC Corp., McLain was treasurer for Stevens International, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. He also served as manager for Price Waterhouse in Dallas, Texas, and as vice president of Team Bank (Bank One) in Fort Worth, Texas.
McLain serves on the board of directors for the Arts Council of Oklahoma City and on its Executive Committee as Treasurer.
McLain is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis on accounting and marketing. He also earned a master's degree in business administration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. McLain is a certified public accountant.
McLain lives in Edmond, Okla., with his wife, Dana, and their two sons. |
