Scott Kaltrider was named president of Praxair Healthcare Services,Inc., in 2007, responsible for Praxair’s healthcare business in the U.S.and anada.Kaltrider joined Praxair in 1983 as an engineer in the U.S. easternegion. He subsequently held assignments in operations and customerservice, and spent two years as president of AMKO ServiceCompany, a wholly owned subsidiary of Praxair. From 1998 to 2000,Kaltrider held a series of increasingly responsible ositions in theNorth American Industrial Gases West region, including sales support manager, regional sales director and area director. He was named national product manager for atmospheric gases in 2001 and vice president of the 11-state West Region in 2003. Kaltrider holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is a Six Sigma black belt. Praxair is the largest industrial gases company in North and South
