As President and Chief Operating Officer of GTSI, Scott W. Friedlander is responsible for all aspects of execution on corporate strategy, continuous improvement towards GTSI customers experience and improving shareholder value through profitability revenue generation. Mr. Friedlander is responsible for overseeing all of the company's line of operations including : Bids and Proposals; Enterprise Sales; Sales Operations; E-Business; Enterprise Solutions Practices; Marketing; Financial Services; Operations and Information Technology.
Joining GTSI in 2001, Mr. Friedlander built a number of Enterprise Technology Practices that attracted certified engineers, technical sales specialists, and solutions architects that developed GTSI solutions and services capabilities, using GTSI’s unique Technology Lifecycle Management Model. The increased professional staff and tight OEM (original equipment manufacturer) alignments have become key competitive differentiators for GTSI. Mr. Friedlander is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the company with the executive team, focusing on improved customer satisfaction and GTSI organization processes. His leadership is helping to continue to align the company around enterprise infrastructure solutions and services as well as transforming the company with greater operational efficiencies.
Mr. Friedlander's career in sales, marketing, enterprise solutions, operations and services spans nearly 25 years in the information technology industry. Prior to joining GTSI, he spent 19 years with Xerox Corporation in positions of ascending responsibility, culminating as Vice President/General Manager of Public Sector Operations for North America Solutions Group . In that role, he was responsible for revenues generated from seven Xerox Business Units, including the Federal, State and Local, Higher Education and the K-16 market place. Mr. Friedlander joined Xerox Corp after receiving his BS Degree in Finance at University Of Maryland, Smith School of Business. |
