S. Scott Lieberman represents public and private company clients on a variety of corporate issues, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, licensing, contracts, transactions, securities, and general business counseling. He also represents a variety of privately held business and lenders on commercial and multi-unit residential real estate transactions and provides services in settling and closing large-scale commercial real estate acquisitions and financing transactions. Mr. Lieberman has significant experience drafting Exchange Act filings for public companies and formation and governance documents for a wide array of corporate entities. Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Mr. Lieberman was an associate in the Washington, DC offices of Blank Rome LLP and Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP. Before working in private practice, Scott served as an Attorney-Advisor with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. While attending law school at the University of Maryland School of Law, Mr. Lieberman was Associate Editor of The Business Lawyer, published by the American Bar Association.
