Scott R. King, age 49, is the President and CEO of the Company and one of its founders. (E-mail Scott.) He received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 1977 and an M.A. in Biochemistry from Harvard University in 1978. He was an investment analyst specializing in biological and medical technology at F. Eberstadt & Co. in New York and Montgomery Securities in San Francisco from 1979 to 1986.
