Scott Erickson has extensive experience providing general counsel representation to family and closely held businesses, including businesses in the sports and entertainment industry.
This experience includes:
corporate and business planning;
business acquisitions and sales;
shareholder and owner planning;
sponsorship and endorsement contracts, merchandising and brand identification; and
tax, estate and successorship planning.
Scott is chair of Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Sports and Entertainment Business practice group and a member of the Sports Lawyers Association. He is past chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association Business Banking and Franchise Section and a member of the Business, Probate, and Trust Law Sections of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Sports, Business and Estate Planning Sections of the American Bar Association.
