Scott M. Williams is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. As a member of the Firm's Corporate Department, Scott focuses his practice in the area of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, restructurings and general corporate representation.
Scott has extensive experience in directing and structuring legal transactions on behalf of public and private corporations, as well as, private equity funds. Scott has been selected by peers for inclusion in the Guide to the World's Leading Private Equity Lawyers. He also provides continuing legal advice to a number of the Firm's corporate clients, ranging from start-up ventures to publicly held corporations in the areas of securities law, commercial contracts and corporate governance.
Scott is admitted to the Illinois and Wisconsin bars.
