Scott L. King is a senior vice president and president of the Automotive Group for Eaton Corporation and reports to the chairman and chief executive officer. King was elected to his current position in June 2007 after serving as vice president and president - Powertrain and Specialty Controls Operation.
As senior vice president, he also serves as a member of the corporation's Office of the Chief Operating Officer.
King joined Eaton in 1996 as Marketing Manager for Torque Control Products Division. He later served as Sales and Marketing Manager for Engine Air Management Operations - Worldwide in 2000 and had also served as the North America Sales and Marketing Manager for Engine Air Management Systems since 1999. In 2001 he became Vice President - Sales and Marketing for the Automotive Group, and in 2005 was named as vice president and president - Powertrain and Specialty Controls Operation. King has a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a MBA from the University of Michigan.
