Mr. Dauscher represents employers in various employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, immigration, wage & hour, and prevailing wage litigation. In addition, Mr. Dauscher represents companies in unfair competition, trade secret, breach of contract, and other business tort litigation. Mr. Dauscher aggressively litigates complex employment and business cases in state and federal court and has represented clients before numerous state and federal administrative agencies and arbitrations. Mr. Dauscher has extensive experience with class action lawsuits, particularly class actions involving claims for unpaid overtime, off-the-clock work and meal & rest periods. He is one of just a handful of lawyers in California who has litigated a wage and hour class action through trial. Among his many legal accomplishments, Mr. Dauscher represented an employer in a lawsuit against a former employee who embezzled from the company. Mr. Dauscher recovered over $2 million from the former employee. In another case, Mr. Dauscher obtained summary judgment for his client in a case in which a competitor sued for alleged theft of trade secrets. |
