Scott’s business litigation experience includes a wide range of trial and appellate court matters across several industries. His trial court experience includes matters involving many aspects of upstream and midstream oil and gas operations, including leasehold development, drainage, pooling and royalty disputes, revenue and joint interest accounting disputes, claims for property damage occasioned by drilling and production operations, and contract disputes involving unit operations or the sale of producing properties.
Scott's non-oil and gas trial court experience includes managed care and insurance disputes, commercial contract disputes, business torts, disputes under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Consumer Protection Act, real estate disputes, matters related to director and officer liability, and construction claims.
