Scott Richter's practice focuses on the representation of companies in the areas of banking, corporate and securities law. He regularly counsels a variety of clients in connection with public securities offerings and private placements of securities. His experience also includes representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, as well as asset and stock purchases. Mr. Richter routinely advises our publicly held clients on the reporting, proxy and other regulatory obligations imposed by the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also counsels our financial institution clients on state and federal regulatory compliance issues and on branch acquisitions and dispositions. He has been actively involved in organizing bank and thrift holding companies and start-up banks.
