Scott Edward Walker is Of Counsel to the firm and focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions and securities law matters. Mr. Walker has advised a broad range of public and private companies and private equity funds in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, public and private financings, corporate restructurings and corporate governance matters. Mr. Walker was a corporate associate for nearly eight years at two of New York's leading law firms, where he represented a number of major multinational corporations (e.g., Sony, DaimlerChrysler), financial institutions (e.g., JPMorgan, Mellon) and private equity firms (e.g., Apollo, Thomas Weisel) in transactions valued in the billions of dollars. Mr. Walker graduated from Cornell University (A.B. 1981), St. John's University School of Law (J.D. 1985) and New York University School of Law (LL.M., Corporation Law, 1986) and is a member of the California, New York and Washington, D.C. bars. |
