Scott Veenendall is a paralegal in the general litigation practice group in Minneapolis. Scott also serves in project manager role for selected complex litigation. As a paralegal, Scott has assisted legal teams in a wide variety of areas including product liability, agribusiness litigation, toxic tort litigation, construction litigation and patent litigation. As a Project Manager, Scott has managed a number of large document-related cases, including complex class actions. These cases have involved discovery requests amounting to millions of pages and coordination of collection sites located throughout the U.S. Some of his responsibilities have included: Developing strategies, including technology and human resources, for overall litigation administration, document collection, review, imaging, coding, and optimal affirmative case use Developing project budgets and timelines Managing resources, including firm technology, litigation support personnel and outside vendors Preparing document management database structure and case management proceduresPreparing case summaries and status reports for litigation management Preparing various pleadings and discovery responses Factual investigation, including interview of witnesses Obtaining and summarizing third party records Preparing for trial and trial support Preparing exhibits (including concepts for demonstratives) and trial presentation Legal research and citation verificationScott has worked at Faegre & Benson and in the legal industry for over 10 years. He has worked with many of the firm’s senior litigation partners. Scott received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained his paralegal certificate from the Arizona Paralegal Training Program in Phoenix, Arizona. |
