A partner in the firm's business and financial transactions group, Mr. Friedman concentrates his practice on general business matters, with particular emphasis on venture capital financing transactions and on representing family-owned and closely-held businesses as well as professional partnerships. He has lectured extensively and is the author of numerous articles and several published books, including The Successful Family Business (1998), How to Profit by Forming Your Own Limited Liability Company (1996) and (co-author) How to Run a Family Business . He is the creator of P/E Max , a consulting program designed to enhance organizational success and co-author, with Bob Rich, of a related book, Secrets from the Delphi Cafe. Mr. Friedman is also the president of Niagara Gorge Venture Partners, LLC., a privately held investment company. He is active in many civic and professional organizations.
