Scott B. White holds the post of chief technical officer. In this role, he manages InStar’s development team, maintenance and support services. Other responsibilities include administration of the company’s IT staff, management of hardware and software procurement and management of internal infrastructure. White has aquired keen insight into today’s constantly changing information technology arena, based on his 25 years of experience in the sector.
White co-founded the company along with Van Eaton in 2001. During the past five years, he was involved in all facets of the software design and development lifecycle including project management, procurement, database design and development, user interface development, business logic development, unit testing and formal acceptance testing.
Before starting InStar, White held a range of project management and/or consultant roles with companies such as Perot Systems, Geodynamics Corporation, Martin Marrieta, Loral Aerospace and MacDonald-Douglass.
