Scott A. Stichter was born in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Stichter was admitted to the bar in Florida and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 1987. He graduated from Vanderbilt University, B.A. 1984, and Wake Forest University, JD 1987, where he served as a member of the Moot Court Board, 1985-1987 and American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Team. He has been listed in Florida Trend's "Florida Legal Elite". Mr. Stichter was honored as the recipient of the 2005 Jimmy Kynes Pro Bono Award by the Hillsborough County Bar Association. He headed the representation of Touch 1 Communications, Antonio Tarver, McDill-Columbus, The North American Archery Group, CHC Industries and Independent Wholesale and has been heavily involved in representing American Ship Building, Hillsborough Holdings, Koger Properties, The Koger Partnership, Anthony Distributors, Anthony Distributing Company, Affiliated of Florida, Nitram, and Caribbean Select. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association (Director, 1999 to 2003). He also served on the Alumni Council for the Wake Forest University College of Law (1994-2003).
