Scott A. Trenholm is a Partner of Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP and is the Partner-in-Charge of the Audit Department. Prior to joining the firm he was a partner with DiSanto Bertoline & Company, P.C. where he was in charge of that firm's Attest Services Division, university relations and recruiting program and personnel. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. Mr. Trenholm has more than 20 years of auditing and financial consulting experience. He has directed numerous audits for publicly-held and closely-held commercial enterprises in the manufacturing, distribution, service, real estate and healthcare industry classifications as well as nonprofit and governmental agencies receiving federal and state assistance. His financial consulting experience is focused on resolving financial issues for both for profit and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Trenholm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association for Long-Term Care Financial Managers. He is the past Treasurer of the American Heart Association, Connecticut Affiliate and Connecticut Youth Hockey, Inc., and is active as a coach and volunteer in various youth sports organizations. Mr. Trenholm also serves on the Advisory Board to the Accounting Department of the University of Connecticut and on the board of directors of Greater Hartford Legal Aid. |
