Scott Slater is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bowling Green State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has been employed by Toledo Engineering Co., Inc. (TECO) since January 1979 serving as Controller (1979-1980), Treasurer (1980-1988), Vice President-Finance (1988-2002), Vice Chairman/V.P. Finance (2002-2004), and currently as Chairman. Prior to his employment with TECO, Mr. Slater worked for Ernst and Ernst as a Supervisor on the audit staff.

Mr. Slater oversees the operations of all the TECO group’s entities. Mr. Slater is involved in customer relations, contract negotiations and coordination of the inter-group activities. He oversees general operations, finance, purchasing, personnel, legal and insurance issues.
