Scot is a founding investor in Xcellerex. He has spent 25 years working with high growth companies in the financial services industry. Most recently he advised J. Joe Ricketts, Chairman of Ameritrade, on the $3.5 billion merger of Ameritrade and TD Waterhouse and the purchase of a minority stake in Ameritrade by TD Bank. Previously Mr. Galliher was a senior executive at Shinsei Bank in Japan in charge of Electronic Commerce and a partner at Conning Capital Partners, a mid-sized venture capital firm investing $550 million in high growth financial services companies. Prior to that Scot co-founded the Financial Institutions Technology Group at Goldman Sachs where he specialized in online banks, brokerages and electronic exchanges and worked on approximately $3 billion in mergers, IPO's, and debt transactions. |
