Saurabh has over 15 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur involving a wide range of leading edge technologies. He began his career as an early stage member of the team at NexGen Microsystems that built the first Intel x86 compatible microprocessor - eventually acquired by AMD in 1995 and brought to market as the "Athlon" processor. Following that he was co-founder, CTO and V.P. Engineering of Internet Devices Inc. - a developer of one of the first "Internet Appliance" products focused on distributed network security policy management - subsequently acquired by Alcatel in July 1999. Most recently he was Principal Architect at Teraburst Inc. involved in steering the company’s product transition from optical switches for high-speed data networks to digital video networking systems for visualization applications. Over the years he has developed extensive experience in overall system design with emphasis on balancing the use of the latest technologies with corporate objectives. He holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University Of Toledo, Ohio and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT), Bombay. |
