Saumen Chakraborty leads the finance function across the global operations of Dr. Reddy’s and is also responsible for the Information Systems functions and for leveraging technology platforms to achieve Business Process Excellence across the organization. Saumen joined Dr. Reddy’s in 2001 as Global Chief of HR a responsibility that he exchanged for that of the Chief Financial Officer in 2006. He has played a very significant role in the evolution of Dr. Reddy's having championed a number of world-class human resource initiatives that helped transform the company into one of the most respected employers in the country and a great place to work.
Saumen has over 22 years of experience in strategic and operational aspects of management as a management consultant line manager and an HR facilitator with diverse portfolios such as Senior Manager (Finance & Accounts) in Eicher and Vice President (Operations) in Tecumseh in previous assignments.
A member of various industry forums including the CII and the National HRD Network Saumen graduated with honours in Physics at the top of Visva-Bharati University and went to on to pursue management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad India’s most prestigious business school. |
