Mr. Altabet has over 20 years of experience in Marketing and Engineering in the imaging and PC graphics semiconductor industry. Before NuCORE, Mr. Altabet was an executive high-tech business development and marketing consultant for various start-ups. Mr. Altabet also was the Director of Marketing at 3Dfx Interactive, well known for its high-performance PC graphic chipsets marketed under the Voodoo brand. Prior to 3Dfx, Mr. Altabet held various digital video and graphics marketing management roles at Cirrus Logic and Weitek. Mr. Altabet started his semiconductor career has a VLSI designer at Bell Labs and did the I/O architecture and design of one the world’s 1st 32-bit microprocessors. He also spent several years in Japan working for Canon as a Multimedia Engineering Consultant. Mr. Altabet has MS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Engineering and Chemistry and a minor in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
