Satoshi Miura joined NTT in April 1967. In June 1996, he became a Senior Vice President and Executive Manager of the Personnel Department of NTT. In July 1997, he became a Senior Vice President and Executive Manager of the Personnel and Industrial Relations Department of NTT. In June 1998, he became an Executive Vice President and Executive Manager of the Personnel and Industrial Relations Department of NTT. In January 1999, he became an Executive Vice President and Deputy Senior Executive Manager of NTT East Provisional Headquarters of NTT. Mr. Miura became a Senior Executive Vice President of NTT East in July 1999, and the President of NTT East in June 2002. In June 2005, he became a Senior Executive Vice President of NTT.
