Mr. Satish M. Joshi is an Executive Vice-President and Patni’s Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Joshi’s responsibilities include supervision of the Manufacturing business unit and all horizontal business units, namely BPO, Enterprise Application Solutions and Infrastructure Management Services. He also oversees several corporate shared services departments, namely Products and Technology Initiatives, Quality Processes & Delivery Innovation, and IT Infrastructure Management, besides the IT Governance center of
excellence. Mr. Joshi has been with the company since 1983. Prior to Patni, Mr. Joshi worked with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in areas such as concurrent programming languages, storage techniques for large databases, compiler optimization and data communication networks. Mr. Joshi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from IIT, Mumbai. |
