Half way through his career Sarath wound up with the Mercury Interactive product line in his kitty and worked on establishing MI's enterprise customer segment in India. In his own words, "....this meant that I initiated into QA in the very dangerous reverse direction, from hyped Test Automation paradigms backward into the modest, but realistic world of Manual Testing. While Sarath thinks that there is no substitute for Rational-UML as the imperative Requirement documentation platform for successful QA or a successful product, he is a die-hard votary of Business Technology Optimisation as the ultimate enterprise IT framework for Solution design & development, Testing & Project management. He feels QQA is consistently maturing to reflect the practical aspects of BTO and provide its benefits to even Mid-Size or Small Industry customers. It (QQA) already addresses certain novel areas, BTO does not". Sarath believes QQA will "structure sapient Testing" and provide for "more persistently predictable QA delivery". Also QQA will "align Test automation towards Framework based Test authoring". Sarath leads the QA services operations. |
