Sarah Cooleybeck's intellectual property litigation practice emphasizes her significant experience in the resolution of patent disputes. She has experience in all aspects of patent litigation, including substantial work with technical and financial experts as well as discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Providing comprehensive intellectual property counsel, Sarah has represented clients at the preliminary injunction stage in cases involving patents, trademarks and trade dress, and handled false advertising litigation through discovery to settlement. Her clients are often providers of sophisticated products for the health care industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology products and medical devices.
In addition to her patent litigation activity, Sarah has handled a wide variety of general commercial disputes. On a pro bono basis she has represented victims of domestic violence, tenants facing eviction, and victims of race-based housing discrimination. She also acted as lead trial counsel in obtaining a favorable jury verdict in a housing discrimination case.

Represented Atrix Laboratories in a patent infringement suit filed by TAP Pharmaceuticals involving biodegradable polymers used for drug delivery
Represents Fresenius Medical Care in Hatch-Waxman and antitrust litigation against Roxane Laboratories arising out of Roxane's Abbreviated New Drug Application to market a generic version of Fresenius's patented PhosLo® brand drug for end stage renal disease
