Sarah Kilibarda advises employers on a range of employment-based immigration issues. Her experience includes:
Preparation of all types of petitions for temporary work visas, including H-1Bs, TNs, H-2Bs, H-3s, L-1s, E-1/2s, E-3s and O-1s
Assisting with filing and renewal of L-1 blanket petitions
Counseling clients through the PERM process
Preparation of applications for permanent residence, including PERM applications, immigrant visa petitions, outstanding researcher petitions, adjustment of status applications, consular processing and applications for advance parole and employment authorization
Advising permanent residents on issues relating to maintenance of permanent residence and preparation of reentry permit applications
Advising employers and foreign national employees on travel-related issues, including consular processing and admissibility
Advising employers on compliance with state and federal laws related to I-9s and workplace discrimination
Sarah's clients include companies in health care, agribusiness, information technology, engineering, high-tech, and manufacturing industries.
She has also worked on immigration projects with the Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights and is active with the Volunteer Lawyers Network Housing Advocacy Project.
