Sarah Andrus practices in the Firm's Litigation Group. She primarily represents financial institutions and corporate clients in class action lawsuits alleging violations of the unfair competition laws of California and other states. Her practice also includes prosecution of complex real estate fraud matters, defense and prosecution of claims involving protection of trade secrets and trademarks, creditors' rights, employment disputes, provisional remedies and telemarketing laws. Ms. Andrus is also involved in analysis of the impact of legislative developments on the financial services industry at both the state and federal level.
Having written extensively in the area of non-judicial foreclosure sales, Ms. Andrus has been published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Business Credit, Mortgage Servicing News and Commercial Lender.
Ms. Andrus earned a B.A. in Russian and European Studies from the University of Michigan in 1990 and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1994.
She is a member of the Receiver's Forum, the Women Lawyer's Association of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and serves as a mentor to women law students through the Women's Law Association of Loyola Law School.
