Sara joined The Mercanti Group in 2006 from Piper Jaffray & Co. where she served as a marketing coordinator in the Financial Sponsor’s Investment Banking Group. She was responsible for event marketing and maintaining the private equity relationships for all investment banking. While at Piper Jaffray, Sara also worked as part of the Private Placement team. From 1999 to 2002, Sara was an account supervisor with Fleishman Hillard in their Washington, D.C. office. While at Fleishman Hillard, she managed the internal and external communications of several emerging technology companies, public companies and public affairs and government agencies. Some representative clients included Yahoo!, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, CoStar Group, U.S. Department of the Interior and the U.S. Mint. From 1997 to 1999, Sara worked in the office of U.S. Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) as a Scheduler and Press Secretary. Sara graduated from The George Washington University with a BA in Political Communications. |
