Sara Mathew is president and chief operating officer of D&B a position she has held since March 2007. She is also a member of the company’s Board of Directors and its Global Leadership Team.
Previously Ms. Mathew served as chief financial officer of D&B a position she held since joining the company in 2001. Since that time she has assumed additional executive assignments while retaining her CFO role. In January 2006 she added responsibility as president - International and in September 2006 she relinquished that role to become president - US.
Ms. Mathew brings proven performance and a broad general management experience to D&B through her diverse domestic and international experience and track record of achieving profitability. She leverages her skills and financial acumen to successfully implement D&B’s business strategy and increase shareholder value.
Before joining D&B Ms. Mathew spent 18 years at Procter & Gamble where she served in a number of executive positions including vice president of finance responsible for the ASEAN region of Australia Asia and India. Prior to that she progressed through a series of finance and general leadership positions including brand management investor relations comptroller for the Paper Products division and chief financial officer of the Global Baby Care business unit.
Ms. Mathew serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Campbell Soup Company. She holds a bachelor's degree in physics chemistry and mathematics from Women's Christian College in Madras India and a master’s in business administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati Ohio. Ms. Mathew is also a distinguished member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants in India.
