Sara Levinson is the Chairman of ClubMom and is also President of the Women's Publishing Group at Rodale, Inc. Since joining Rodale, she has engineered a redesign of Prevention (January 2004), the 11th largest consumer magazine in the U.S., which has been well received by readers and the advertising community. Prior to this, Sara served as President of NFL Properties Inc., the licensing, marketing, and sponsorship division of the National Football League. As President of NFL Properties and the only woman to hold the position at any professional sports league, she was responsible for the overall business of the organization, generating profits through marketing the logos and trademarks of the NFL and the Super Bowl, as well as the NFL's 32 football teams. Sara oversaw a $2 billion consumer products and e-commerce division, corporate sponsorship, marketing, special events, club services and publishing. Under her leadership, the NFL secured the biggest deal in sports licensing history with Nike; entered into the largest sponsorship in sports history with Sprint; and implemented the NFL's first comprehensive and integrated marketing program. She launched "Play Football," a program that increased the number of kids participating in NFL programs from 300,000 to more than five million. As part of the program, the NFL struck a partnership with Hasbro that created new ways for kids to take part in the game of football. Additionally, the NFL launched its "For Her" program, which marketed football to women through seminars, cookbooks and apparel. |
