Sara's practice focuses mainly on the oil and gas industry, including litigation, title and transactional matters. Her experience encompasses transactions affecting both onshore and offshore properties. She has also been involved in a wide array of litigation matters, concerning overriding royalty interest, purchase and sale agreements, gas processing rights, mineral leases, onshore and offshore operating agreements, and oil and gas environmental matters.
Before joining Gordon Arata, Sara clerked for the Honorable Jay C. Zainey, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She graduated from Loyola University Law School, where she was a member of the Loyola Law Review and Moot Court Staff. While in law school, Sara received the Law Excellence Awards in Corporate Taxation and Maritime Personal Injury. |
