Santiago Patino brings to Cornerstone a long history of bank operations expertise. Among his many accomplishments, he served as Director of Corporate Operations for a $17 billion community bank, where he oversaw 300 employees in the areas of Item Processing, Loan Operations, Deposit Operations, ATM Operations, Proof & Control, Corporate Services and General Services. He consolidated the consumer and business banking loan operations departments, coordinated the merger of system and operating processes for an acquired bank, insourced all check processing and statement rendering operations, expanded the bank's cash management services and consolidated non-revenue producing functions from the branch system into back office areas. Santiago has coordinated numerous mergers and developed the operational requirements that ensured smooth transitions. While working for a large regional bank, he also chaired the corporation’s revenue enhancement committee for 10 years. Santiago has also consulted to many different types of financial institutions, including small community banks and larger regional banks. Santiago attended Saint Joseph’s College, Philadelphia, and is a graduate of the ABA National Trust School at Northwestern University and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. |
