Sanjai Kohli, Chief Technical Officer, returns to SiRF as part of SiRF’s March, 2006 acquisition of TrueSpan, a mobile video company he founded, where he served as Chief Technology Officer. Previously Sanjai was Co-founder, President and CEO of WirelessHome, which was acquired in 2001 by Proxim/Western Multiplex, where he developed a point to multipoint system with a 9:1 price performance advantage over competitive offerings, and which achieved $36 million in sales in its first year of production. Prior to WirelessHome, Sanjai’s served his previous tenure at SiRF as Co-Founder, President, and Vice President of Engineering, where he was responsible for the development of the first two generations of chip sets and software, including the flagship SiRFstarII architecture. Before joining SiRF, he founded and served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Software Technology & Systems (STS), a company that developed smart munitions and spread spectrum technology.
