Sangam Pant is a Senior Managing Director of the firm’s investment management business. He runs our Venture Capital business, and additionally focuses on Technology plus Growth private equity.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Pant held various senior management positions with companies such as AT&T, DEC, Lycos and Ziff-Davis.
Mr. Pant is a board member at Sierra Design Automation, StrongMail and Alliant Group. His other investments include Jamdat Mobile (NASDAQ: JMDT, former board member), StorePerform Technologies (sold to Red Prairie), ThinkIndia (sold to Rediff, NASDAQ:REDF), Atheros (NASDAQ: ATHR), Aarohi (sold to Emulex, NYSE:ELX), Balkrishna Industries (BSE: BKB.I) and LowerMyBills (Sold to Experian).
Mr. Pant received a B.S. from Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, India, an M.S. from the University of Florida, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds four patents and has published numerous research papers and articles. |
