Mr. Zweifach joined Reedland in 2005 and heads our life sciences M&A/advisory efforts, bringing with him 15 years of proven experience in investment banking, investing, business development, mergers & acquisitions, and management. Prior to joining Reedland, Sandy was CEO of Pathways Diagnostics, Inc., a biomarker development company. Previously, from 1997 to 2003, Sandy was CFO of Bay City Capital, a merchant bank specializing in the biotech/life science industry, where he was responsible for oversight of the firm's finance department as well as President of the firm's M&A and financing division. From 1995 to 1997 Sandy was President and CFO of Epoch Biosciences, which was acquired by Nanogen in 2004. Previously, Sandy was a Certified Public Accountant for Coopers & Lybrand and held various investment banking positions focusing on biotech. Mr. Zweifach received his BA in Biology from UC San Diego and holds an MS in Human Physiology from UC Davis. |
