Mr. Devries, Chief Financial Officer of the CPS Environmental Group, has over 21 years of management and financial experience in the industrial services, environmental cleaning, and construction fields. During these years, he has held a variety of positions within these industries while concentrating on building teams that would support the growth and profitability that his organizations were able to attain.
From 1992 to 1995, as Vice-President and Regional Controller of the West Coast division of a large national firm, Mr. Devries had the financial responsibility for a $70 million group of industrial and environmental service companies. During this period, his area grew from one company to twelve industrial and environmental service companies. As a leader on the team that built the Pacific Region, Mr. Devries' responsibilities included financial management, general administration, operations team building, acquisition management, and growth planning.
Prior to this period, Mr. Devries was the Vice-President/Controller for a firm that grew during his tenure from a local industrial service company to a regional industrial and environmental service company that dominated its market with the help of the operational and financial systems that Mr. Devries created. Mr. Devries has a unique blend of operational and financial skills that include hands-on knowledge of fieldwork, along with the additional tools of safety, quality, cost controls, job planning, and cost accounting. |
