Sandra Hanington was appointed to the role of Executive Vice-President, Customer Strategies and Marketing, P&C Banking Canada effective August 2006. Ms. Hanington is accountable for the development and implementation of customer strategies to achieve a differentiated position for BMO Bank of Montreal in the Canadian market.
Ms. Hanington began her career in 1985 as a Consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), moving on to Suncor Inc./Sunoco Group in 1987 as Marketing Specialist and Senior Operations Research Analyst. She joined Royal Trust in 1988 and subsequently moved to North American Life/Manulife Financial as Assistant Vice-President for Affinity Markets.
In 1999, Ms. Hanington joined BMO Financial Group as Vice-President, Insurance, Personal and Commercial Client Group. In 2001, she was appointed Vice-President for Product Development in Small Business Banking and in 2002 was named Vice-President, Corporate Communications, before joining Harris as Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Customer Strategies, Chicagoland Banking in 2003.
Ms. Hanington is a licensed professional engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Toronto. |
