Sandra E. Taylor has served as a director of Capella Education Company since 2006. She is senior vice president, corporate social responsibility, for Starbucks Corporation, where she has been employed since 2003. Prior to joining Starbucks, Taylor served as vice president and director of public affairs for Eastman Kodak Company from 1996 until 2003. She has also held senior leadership positions with a number of other organizations, including ICI Americas Inc. and the European American Chamber of Commerce in the United States. Taylor sits on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including the Center for International Private Enterprise, the Seattle Public Library Foundation, the Public Affairs Council, the National Center for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and the Women's Leadership Board of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado Women's College and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. |
