Sam Schwarzman began his Wall Street career with Hayden, Stone Securities. He has an extensive securities industry background in operations, sales and regulation in excess of 30 years. Sam was an Examiner for both the New York Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers. He was the president of a firm and a chief Compliance Officer. Most recently, Sam Schwarzman was a Vice President and the Private Client Services Compliance Officer of Jefferies & Co. (JEF on the NYSE). Sam Schwarzman was born and raised on Long Island, NY where he still resides. He is a graduate of Nassau Community College where he was Vice President of the Student Government, Captain of the Soccer Team, Parliamentarian of Alpha PI Delta Fraternity and member of several school clubs. Sam continued his education at Bernard Baruch College in NYC and took many industry courses at the New York Institute of Finance. Sam has his Ocean Masters Certificate from the United States Coast Guard. He has a deep love of sports, especially soccer and coaches a girls soccer travel team. He is married and is the father of 6 children including two still in elementary school and living at home.
