Sam Morcos is the ideal individual to drive Entrust revenue in 2006 and beyond. As the Senior Vice President, Sales & Services, Mr. Morcos is responsible for revenue of Entrust products and services that help our customers secure the digital lives of their employees, customers, partners, citizens and more.
Mr. Morcos originally joined Entrust in 1997, as Director of Worldwide Channel Programs. He was promoted to Vice President, Asia Pacific & Latin American Sales, in 1999. In 2002, Mr. Morcos left Entrust to be a part of the new executive team for a previously founder-run startup called Klocwork, Inc. As Vice President Worldwide Sales, Mr. Morcos was responsible for Klocwork's revenue, and helped set and communicate the company strategy and direction. He also participated in raising capital (funds in hand within 60 days of first presentation). During Mr. Morcos' tenure, Klocwork revenues quadrupled in 11 months.
In October 2003, Mr. Morcos returned to Entrust as Vice President Operations, Asia Pacific. In February 2005, he became Vice President Operations, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Mr. Morcos' proven success and strategic vision contributed to his promotion to Senior Vice President, Sales for Entrust in May 2005, and as of January 2006, he took over services teams as the Senior Vice President, Sales & Services.
Prior to joining Entrust, Mr. Morcos held a variety of positions over his nine-year career at Digital Equipment Corporation.
