Mr.King joined MJM Investigations in 2001 as Vice President of the Western Region and Special Investigations Unit. He now serves as Senior Vice President for the Western Region. Mr. King brings with him, over 20 years experience as a professional investigator and investigations manager. He is the former Director of Field Operations and the Special Investigation Unit for Golden Eagle Insurance Corporation, a member of the Liberty Mutual Group, where he created and implemented the company’s investigation and anti-fraud programs.Mr. King was Chairman of the California Department of Insurance Criminal Division’s Committee on S.I.U. Training. He is also a member of the California Department of Insurance Workers’ Compensation Fraud Advisory; the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU); the Southern California Fraud Investigator’s Association; the Northern California Fraud Investigator’s Association; the San Diego District Attorney’s Premium Fraud Task Force; and the Certified Fraud Examiner’s Association.Mr. King is an internationally recognized speaker on topics in the insurance and investigations arena. Recent seminars conducted include: the California Insurance Guarantee Association’s Annual Training Conference; the Northern California Fraud Investigator’s Association Annual Seminar; the California District Attorney Association’s, Insurance Fraud Seminar; the Annual International Insurance Investigations Conference for IASIU; the California Insurance Fraud Symposium; and the National College of District Attorneys.Mr. King’s prior positions include Fraud Unit Manager for The Travelers Insurance Company, Senior Investigator for a law firm and Police Officer for the City of Covina, California. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Azusa Pacific University, as well as certificates from the Los Angeles Police Academy. Mr. King is Police Officer Standards & Training (POST) Certified through the California Department of Justice with Law Enforcement Investigations, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Courses. |
